Acting for Kids & Teens is a local acting studio in Portland, Oregon. Our goal is to provide a safe space where all kids and teens can express themselves with their art, take acting classes and being part of an artist community. Our coaches spend quality time consulting, mentoring and walking kids and parents through the professional and emotional world of being an artist. All of our kids are held to a high standard professionally as well as in their personal lives and academically. Our Portland acting program, backed by a supportive community of creatives, also helps our students acquire life skills that they will carry throughout their entire lives. With the schools cutting back on their arts programs and more families in need than ever our vision is to raise funds so we can help support young artists in need in our area.
We have a lot of local talent that want to participate in the arts but are unable to afford due to family hardship. The great news is Acting for Kids & Teens is now a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. We can now accept donations which can be tax deductible. With this new opportunity to raise funds for scholarships, we will be able to reach a deserving and talented group of young people and get them into the amazing community of arts!
Will you help us support kids in our community? Our goal for the 2019/2020 is to sponsor 20 deserving kids for the year, totaling $36,000. There are a couple of ways you can give your tax deductible donation:
We believe our community will be a better place with more kids exploring their imagination, creativity & uniqueness. We invite you to help us make this happen. Special thanks to Fractured Atlas and you for investing in the future of kids and the arts.
Please contact us if you have any questions or ideas on how to help kids and the arts.
