THE AKFT EXPERIENCE
We're more than an acting studio, we're a full creative support system.
THE TEAM – All our coaches are working industry professionals with experience nurturing the unique creative expression of young actors. Our behind-the-scenes staff has years of experience running and coordinating summer workshops and are well equipped to answer all your questions and help with anything you need!
THE STUDIO – A warm, professional space designed for creativity. Parents are always welcome to stay, work on Wi-Fi, relax with a coffee, or settle into our cozy lobby before pickup.
THE COMMUNITY – We curate a community of kids and teens that share the same passions and interests. So many students meet their best friends here. TV & Film Workshops for all Skill Levels and Interests
Whether your kiddo is obsessed with K-Pop Demon Hunters or wants more hands-on experience creating their own movies, we’ve got a program for them.
We know you’re concerned about the safety guardrails for kids being on camera. Because of our specialization we strongly emphasize online safety. Our programs teach kids to respect content, be mindful about what they put out in the world, and to approach being on camera in a thoughtful and responsible way.

Half-day programs available for ages 7-9, 10-12, and 13+
With engaging games, exciting acting exercises, and a final recorded showcase for family and friends, this summer camp is not just about acting; it’s about building confidence, making friends, and creating unforgettable memories. You’ll work on scenes from your favorite shows and movies, diving into character, dialogue, props, and so much more!
Whether you’re brand new to acting or want to brush up on your skills, this camp is designed to build your acting foundation and have fun doing it!
Half-day programs available for ages 8-13
Step into the world of KPop Demon Hunters in this action-packed, music-filled summer camp inspired by the smash-hit film. Actors will bring scenes from the movie to life while diving into character work, on-camera performance, and bold storytelling.
Whether you’re channeling your inner pop star, hero, or supernatural fighter, this camp is all about confidence, creativity, and having an absolute blast.
Full-day & half-day programs available for ages 8-12
Whether campers are new to acting or already love performing, this camp is all about creativity, collaboration, and having fun in a supportive studio environment.
Students will explore improv games, scene work from favorite movies and shows, and other acting-based activities, while also enjoying arts and crafts and a daily age-appropriate movie screening.
Half-day programs available for ages 11+
Calling all aspiring filmmakers! Jump into the exciting world of cinema as you embark on a hands-on journey to write, direct, film, and edit your very own 3-5 minute short film.
- Collaborate with classmates on a script.
- Cast your fellow classmates to star in the short film.
- Share the roles of director, camera operator, producer, and editor.
- Debut your very own short film for the class.
- Receive a link to the short film after the camp to share with family and friends.
Join us for a reel experience filled with laughter, creativity, and the thrill of seeing your imagination unfold on the silver screen.
Half-day program available for ages 8-17
AFKT’s Make-A-Movie is not just a learning experience; it’s a chance for kids and teens to become the stars of their very own film. Led by seasoned professionals in the industry, this camp offers a hands-on opportunity to experience the thrill of being part of a real movie production.
From script readings to rehearsing scenes and getting into character, students will be immersed in the behind-the-scenes magic of filmmaking.
NOTE: There will be a 2nd Make-a-Movie happening the week of August 10th

Unleash the power of your voice at our Voiceover Summer Camp! Led by seasoned voiceover professional, Erin Lehn, our camp is a playground for vocal exploration and expression.
Dive into the magic behind creating animated characters, lending your voice to commercials, and bringing scripts to life with emotion and authenticity. Step up to the microphone and let your voice be heard!

Get ready to laugh, play, and think on your feet!
This high-energy improv and comedy camp is all about creativity, connection, and having a blast on stage. Through classic short-form games and silly scene work, students will stretch their imaginations, make bold choices, and learn to roll with the unexpected. From wild characters to off-the-cuff storytelling, there’s never a dull moment.
Comedy & Improv Camp pairs perfectly with our Creators’ Studio Camp in the same week for a full-day experience.

Full-day and half-day programs available for ages 8-12 and 13+
Creators Studio is a hands-on content creation camp designed for kids and teens who want to create intentional, engaging short-form video while sharpening their on-camera skills.
Throughout the camp, students will work independently and in small groups, rotating roles as performer, director, and camera operator. They’ll learn the basics of framing, lighting, and storytelling, along with how to grab attention in the first few seconds and keep an audience watching.
We also include thoughtful conversations about creative voice, digital responsibility, and how content creation can support acting and other creative goals.
Creators Studio pairs well with our Comedy & Improv Camp in the same week for a full-day experience.

Half-day programs available for ages 11+
Actors will work on spooky scenes to learn how to build tension, create atmosphere, and keep an audience on the edge of their seats. From slow-burning suspense to chilling twists, students will discover how to captivate without giving everything away.
Campers will also write their own original scary story and perform it on camera, bringing creepy characters and eerie moments to life.
Half-day program available for ages 8-17

Half-day program available for ages 13+
Dive into intensive scene studies, character exploration, and advanced acting techniques that challenge and inspire. This camp offers a comprehensive curriculum to strengthen your understanding of the art, building a solid foundation for future success.
Students will work with a series of trust exercises and be pushed to their limit in identifying intentions, objective, and truth.
Students will also benefit from personalized feedback, and collaborative projects with like-minded peers who share their dedication.
This workshop is highly recommended for those who want to audition for our Advanced Acting Program in the Fall!
